How to read the Bus Schedule

  • Schedules tell you what bus you need and the time it will arrive.
  • Find your location on the map and make sure you know what direction you are going when you read the schedule.
  • Find the stop location you are at.
  • Go right from the location to find the time closest to when you want to catch the bus. Be at your stop at least five minutes before that time.
  • If you need to be somewhere by a certain time, look on the schedule and find the timepoint closest to where you are going and what time the bus will arrrive there. Work your way back to where you will begin your trip to find out what time you will need to get on the bus.
  • If you need to transfer to another bus, look up the schedule of the route you will use next.
  • Routes that are not fixed/flex do not have specific timepoints. For those routes an estimated time is given. Please be at the stop 5 minutes before the estimated time.
  • Routes listed on specific schedules (ex. MCR or MTC schedules) give times ONLY for those locations. On those schedules, the estimated times may span a few minutes. Please be at that stop 5 minutes BEFORE the earliest time noted.
  • The bus may not always be at a stop exactly at the time listed, so always give yourself enough time to get to your stop.
